Coordinator, Programming -- USA Network
CITY: New York STATE: New YorkCOUNTRY: USAEssential Functions (Responsibilities):Be part of our team in the Programming department for USA Network, the #1 Cable Channel. Looking for an enthusiastic and thorough multi-tasker to hold various responsibilities within a busy programming department including scheduling, operations, competitive research. You will be responsible for organizing and tracking department records, while learning about television programming and production.
Responsibilities to include but not limited to: Maintain & Update various files & folders pertaining to the Programming Department Answer phones, schedule appointments and perform various administrative duties as needed Organize tapes and DVD screeners Assist with screening programs & reading scripts for standard & practice issues. Participate in research and report competitive information Assist in data entry in systems such as Gabriel, Excel, COMPASS and VCI. Reconcile program scheduling research Assist with close captioning Support in research for monthly USA programming schedule Research program disclaimers & flag when necessary Order requested dubs & air-checks for programming department as neededQualifications/Requirements:
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degreeComputer proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Powerpoint
