Duties:
The primary responsibility of the Women's Health Account Executive position is to increase the number of samples to Myriad from their defined territory. This is done by increasing the number of obstetricians/gynecologists that identify their at risk patient population. With the help of the account executive, the health care provider will either refer those patients to an existing Program of Excellence, or become a Program of Excellence, and educate patients at their practice and send samples directly to Myriad. The Women's Health Account Executive should focus 85% of their time calling on the top 60 franchise accounts in their territory (to be determined in conjunction with their area manager), and the remainder of their sales time should be on prospecting new accounts.
Requirements
Qualifications:
•BS degree and two years of primary care medical sales experience, or a MS degree in a Genetics related field
•Meet with all top 60 franchise accounts 2 times per month
•Identify and implement an action plan to drive growth in territory
•Focus majority of intervention dollars towards action plan docs
•Must meet expense budget
•Must meet administrative requirements
•Able to work independently with strong work ethic
•Must demonstrate a high level of product knowledge
•Must be willing to drive to appointments throughout territory
