Senior Finance Manager Requisition Number: 62493Position Description Develops, implements and maintains systems, procedures and policies to ensure complete and accurate financial results for manufacturing operations including overseeing the day-to-day accounting and month-end close process; maintains or oversees the maintenance of accounts and records in such areas as product standards, margins, and OPC-related spending; manages a team of junior- and senior-level Accounting/Finance professionals. Position Responsibilities 1. Responsible for all aspects of manufacturing finance including planning, inventory analysis, establishing and maintaining standard costs, analyzing and reporting production variances, and establishing and maintaining labor and overhead rates. 2. Provide financial analysis and decision support to manufacturing on operational investments, offshore production assessments, and build-versus-buy component sourcing. 3. Provide system expertise in the support of manufacturing operations including product costing, work center setup, inventory control, and purchasing. 4. Direct departmental activities, including the accurate and timely compilation and analysis of financial information to prepare reports, make general ledger entries and review accuracy of journal entries. 5. Ensure all manufacturing-related balance sheet accounts are reconciled properly, show true financial position, and are reviewed by Finance management. 6. Ensure compliance with both internal finance policy and US GAAP. 7. Contribute to the annual planning process. 8. Develop and administer budgets, schedules and performance requirements. 9. Support day-to-day requests to the financial group for both internal and external reports. 10. Assume other projects and assignments as directed by management. Basic Qualifications • BA or BS, preferably in Business, Finance, or Accounting • Extensive cost accounting, inventory management, and manufacturing operations experience • Ten or more years of industry experience in manufacturing operations. • Experience implementing and utilizing cost accounting functions within a major ERP system. • Strong leadership and management skills with ability to work effectively in direct and cross-functional teams. • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with interest in building strong business partnering relationships; high integrity and self-confidence.
