Senior Development Scientist, Cellular Differentiation
The individual will join the Product Development group as a Senior Development Scientist in Cellular Differentiation, and focus on the process for directed differentiation of pluripotent cells to terminally differentiated cells of the mesoderm lineage. The successful candidate will be the Project Leader on at least one Product Development project, and will have responsibility and authority for the overall timelines, budget, and deliverables for his/her projects. She/He will develop sustainable manufacturing SOPs of these differentiated cell types, appropriate QC specifications, and required product infrastructure (e.g. BOM, CofA, etc.). This is a new Product Development group, and offers outstanding opportunities for advancement.
Requirements:
Proven track record in process development and commercialization, quality systems, production documentation, and experience as a member of product development teams. He/She should have demonstrated scientific expertise with cell culture, cell differentiation, and general molecular biology skills. Experience with Manufacturing systems, ISO, and GMP regulations a plus. Master's Degree in life sciences with 6 years of industry experience or a Ph.D. with 3 years of industry experience.
