Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Job Category: Medical/Health Cytometry Medical Technologist  Job Description: Our client, a specimen processing lab, is actively seeking a Cytometry Medical Technologist for their Richmond, VA facility.Qualified Cytometry Medical Technologists will be responsible for: -Processing specimens and performing all testing procedures provided in the clinical flow cytometry section of the laboratory -Testing including reticulocyte counts, immunodeficiency panels, leukemia/lymphoma panels, platelet associated immunoglobulin procedures, and DNA analysis -Processing specimens for referral testing and research protocols -Maintaining equipment and records -Performing quality control preventive maintenance duties -Writing and revises technical procedures and training othersQualified Cytometry Medical Technologists will have: -Bachelor’s Degree in a science-related field -Certified MT with ASCP qualification preferred -3+ years in medical/research laboratoryThis is PERMANENT opportunity, offering COMPETITIVE PAY and FULL BENEFITS.
