There is no better time to join us!ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:• Communicate with suppliers to place orders, expedite deliveries, resolve invoice discrepancies, revise delivery schedules, arrange returns, obtain shipping information, and obtain pricing and availability information.• Work closely with all requisitioning departments and personnel to coordinate delivery schedules, provide purchase order information, and resolve invoice discrepancies.• Perform RCP duties as delegated.• Process material returns in compliance with departmental operating procedures to assure that unneeded materials are returned in a manner that minimizes potential loss to the company.• Maintain vendor file information, update certificate of liability insurance file, and maintain mailing lists.• Problem solve in an independent manner and request assistance from Buyer when necessary.• Perform all P-card administrator functions including but not limited to: reconciliation of statement, audits, new card data, training, and system changes.OTHER JOB DUTIES:• Assist in maintaining Sourcing & Supplier Relations departmental records.• Monitor inventory levels for ordering purposes, provide feedback to buyers in regards to adjusting part master information.• Maintain well-documented records of work progress.• Carries out self-development efforts as directed.Experience:• 6 years of applicable experience.Education:MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/REQUIRED LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS:• Associate Degree in related field. Experience may be substituted for education requirement.• 6 years of applicable experience.• Must be able to accurately read and record information.• Must possess basic math skills.• Communication skills, both oral and written are essential.• Working knowledge of personal computers and software programs necessary (e.g, Microsoft Office, SDG).At Covance, we help make the miracles of medicine a reality.
