ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The Administrative Assistant will support the Chief Scientific Officer and department directors, and help create an efficient, productive operational system. This position will wear many hats and have contacts from within ECONET sister companies, external R&D collaborators and clients. The following are examples of typical duties.

 Support the Executive – This position supports the Chief Scientific Officer and is responsible for phone, calendar, travel and meeting arrangements relating to the CSO.Document Management – Responsible for managing patent-related documents, product R&D profiles and related scientific references and marketing materials.Field Communications – Responsible for phone and e-mail communication, written correspondence, conference call coordination and meeting organization with external R&D collaborators & clients. Prepare and distribute documents and product samples to external clients.Internal Communications – Responsible for follow-up items relative to product meeting, science summit, conference call and other project meeting schedules within Unigen and Econet affiliates. Clinical Research – Provide logistical support to Director of Clinical Research by preparing product documents and references, and sending clinical trial samples.Administrative Back-Up – Mutual back-up support to Unigen’s Executive AssistantOther Duties as Assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

 

Due to the recent globalization between Unigen Korea & Unigen, USA, this position requires a bi-lingual individual who speaks Korean and English.  Also required is an undergraduate degree in science (Biology or Chemistry) and 2+ year’s administrative/research or clerical experience, meticulous work habits/skills and speed.  Intermediate to advanced business related Computer skills a must along with a variety of software knowledge, including but not limited to Windows network environments, Microsoft Office Suite, Project Manager, etc.  Must be a self-starter with initiative to work independently in a fast-paced environment and a proven ability to follow concise, detailed directions.  A responsible and professional person who is a “team player”, willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
