We also manage to keep a sense of humor along the way.  So if you’re ready for WaMu, read on!   Responsible for projects that involve the collection, interpretation, analysis, communication and reporting of data. An incumbent executes specialized research and complex analysis projects to provide project team with definitive financial/statistical data, interpretation and recommendations. Generally, incumbents at this level own 1 aspect of a particular project.Incumbents in this position generally spend 100% of their time performing detailed analysis type project work. Strong analytical skills demonstrated through practical business experienceDemonstrated ability to compile and structure analyses and findings into compelling business opportunities, linking disparate information sources (eg. external economic and demographic data, along with internal product and profitability data to create business cases for various possible efforts)Effective oral and written communication and presentation skills, including ability to synthesize information for top management, and create presentations in Power Point Minimum of 4+ years of progressively responsible work experience in financial analysis pertinent to the job knowledge and abilities required for this positionHigh degree of ingenuity, creativity and innovation in order to provide top management with business solutions to long range goals and objectivesAble to work in a fast paced environment where priorities may shift rapidlyStrong sense of customer service and teamwork Bachelor's degree with major course work in analysis, finance, economics or equivalent Washington Mutual is an equal opportunity employer.
