The Infrastructure and Financial Management team in US Card IT is looking for an individual who is looking for a challenge managing a team of individuals who will bring various risk and controls SME to bear to ensure US Card IT is a well managed shop.This associate will manage a team of individuals who will work with both IT delivery teams and Production Management teams to help shape and shepherd the Card IT risk agenda through management of the Card IT Risk OfficeQualifications: This role requires a firm understanding of Development methodologies and standard technologies used here at CapitalOne, The ideal candidate will be familiar with code design, development and rollout to production as well as the ITIL and COBIT frameworks. Skills should include: Manage team of associates and contractors  Manage up to 4 people  Manage the delivery of all applicable corporate and compliance risk management requirements for the department  Establish and maintain appropriate workflow model and relationships needed to effectively manage new requests/inquiries from corporate risk management groups and/or external regulators  Establish and maintain an always-on, integrated risk assessment process for the department  Support departmental audits and/or external exams  Lead or consult on various initiatives across the department and/or USCIT that are focused on improving the current control environment, process/platform risk management practices, and/or third party management practices  Effectively drive others to deliver solutions  Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects in a fast-paced, changing environment  Leverage strong interpersonal and teamwork skills to communicate progress, risks and impacts to various levels of IT and Non-IT associates  Focus on analysis of situations and applications of Risk FrameworksRequired:  Bachelors or Masters degree  At least five years of IT experience, focused in Solutions Delivery  Able to define, structure, and plan work  Able to work on multiple concurrent projects  Strong verbal and written communications skills, able to communicate with technical resources and upper management  2-4 Years working in Risk Management  3-5 Years experience in Project Management  3-5 Years experience in managing TeamsPreferred:  Experience working in an Agile environment    _________________________________________________ We are an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
