EDS Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled Part Time Personal Financial Associate (PFA) - Universal at our Herndon Branch located in Herndon, VA.

 

Position Overview:

 

Position will perform Part Time PFA - Universal functions which include but are not limited to:Greet and welcome members and visitors to the credit union in a prompt and professional manner.  Provide professional and accurate service when assisting members and visitors with their transactions and requests.Deliver concierge banking level assistance by serving as a single point of contact for product and service delivery. Fulfill the duties and tasks of any frontline position at multiple branches and/or departments.Answer questions about products and services and resolve issues that are within established authority limits.Refer problems that are beyond authority limits to a supervisor or manager, along with the details of the situation and any recommendations.  Direct requests for information or assistance beyond expertise to the appropriate person.Use basic interview techniques to uncover members’ needs and make appropriate recommendations utilizing the full range of credit union products and services.Assist members with proper completion of forms and applications; assure that appropriate records are maintained, required reports are prepared and scheduled balancing routines are followed.  Adhere to credit union policies and procedures, government rules and regulations, and vendor and security guidelines.Open new accounts and products while providing all necessary information and documentation.Take loan applicant information and enter it into the online system.Close and fund on loans, as approved by the loan department. Conduct teller transactions. Perform other related duties as assigned.



PrerequisitesHigh School graduate or equivalent that is attending courses at a university, college or trade schoolSix months or more of similar or related experienceWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Compliance with Federal Bank Secrecy and Money Laundering rules requiredDemonstrate strong oral and written communication skills  Perform tasks with high degree of accuracy Able to operate a 10-key calculator, typewriter, and computer keyboard Able to make decisions with minimum information Exhibit professional manner and appearance Demonstrate strong organization skillsAble to work as a team with other departments
