We’re looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to help develop and implement a new vision for our single family lending mortgage loan origination system. We seek a dynamic individual with the rare ability to balance business and technical risks to meet company objectives. Essential Functions: • Act as a liaison between the Process and Change Management Group and the Single Family Lending Department and Information Technology • Assist product management in the leadership of cross-departmental teams and are responsible for taking assigned projects from original concept through implementation • Work with end users to elicit requirements, assess user needs and recommend solutions • Translate the proposed solution into detailed functional requirements and specifications for technology applications • Coordinate the development, QA and implementation of the proposed solution Requirements: Five to seven years of experience in a role demonstrating business systems analysis expertise with particular emphasis on the creation and detailed definition of product solutions • Extensive experience in web-based technology environments and software development lifecycle process. Home/residential Loan Origination System (LOS) experience strongly preferred • Experience with a broad range of product development and enhancement projects across different business domains • Experience eliciting user requirements via interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, use cases, data analysis and task and workflow analysis • Experience writing detailed business requirements, business proposals and functional system designs for web-based technology projects • Must have in-depth knowledge of web usability and information architecture principles • Experience with creating and defining Graphical User Interfaces, producing wireframes, mockups and/or prototypes to accompany the function system design • Outstanding communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical, business and executive staff (proposals, business communication, marketing writing) • Excellent organizational, analytical, project management and client relation skills • Ability to understand complex problems and suggest solutions • Proven ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects • Must be a self-starter with ability to pick up new concepts and skills quickly • Extensive experience creating business process diagrams and data flow diagrams using a structured systems analysis methodology • Familiarity with a variety of business systems and information technology concepts, practices and procedures, including structured systems analysis • Familiarity with technical, web project language • Knowledge of HTML • Strong technical experience with SQL, databases and reporting tools • Understanding of data modeling techniques • Experience with new product development from inception through implementation • Product Management experience preferred • Financial services industry experience strongly preferred • Experience using Microsoft Office products, including MS Project • Can travel occasionally(See above)HomeStreet Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer For quick consideration apply here
