SAP Functional Treasury Specialist

Permanent full time position(not a contract)with well established publicly held firm in northern VA


SAP Treasury Functional Specialist  $115k + 20% bonus  and an excellent benefits package

Support businesses which are in production by resolving functional issues in the areas of TR-Securities, Money Market, Foreign Exchange, Bank statement processing (EBS); payment processing in FSCM module and Cash Position ReportingResolve Production system issues related to TR-Transaction Manager processesWork with Corporate Treasury department and Treasury functions in the business units to understand business requirements related to Transaction Manager processes and develop solutionsDesign and develop functional specifications, test scripts and training content related to SAP TreasuryWork with SAP deployment teams to provide functional knowledge and resolve design issues

 

Qualifications: 

 4 year college degree, preferably in Accounting/Finance5+ years of SAP functional experience working in SAP Treasury modules4+ full life cycle implementations and upgrade experience in SAP Treasury – Transaction ManagerStrong experience in all aspects of SAP Treasury version ERP 2005, including FSCM (Financial Supply Chain Management). Skills in the following areas are required:Corporate and Inter-company borrowingsManaging interfaces from third party financial institutionsTreasury and Risk ManagementTransaction ManagerMoney MarketSecuritiesBondsSyndicated FacilitiesIn-house-cash and Electronic Bank StatementsCentralized electronic payments and bank statements (particularly with experience in MT101, MT940, and MT940S protocol/formatsCurrent day statement processingPayment processing in TR (F111) and using bank chainsCash Position ReportingSAP Business partner and roles related to Treasury processingStrong understanding of Bank reconciliation proceduresSolid understanding of foreign currency settings; supporting multiple GAAP by the use of multiple ledgersSolid understanding of accounting for treasury instruments and transactionsSound internal controls knowledge and backgroundDemonstrable experience in analysis & design with the ability to recommend design alternatives, create documentation, and turn requirements into test scripts and training super users Experience working in a global template environment and with roll-outs of global templatesAttention to detail, a “can do” attitudeStrong interpersonal skills, results oriented and have the ability to integrate into a cross functional teams
