Using organizational and planning skills, manages various project teams to deliver innovative new technologies in a manner that improves business processes and positively impacts JFG associates and clients. Builds relationships with business and project teams based upon JFG values and culture. Works with a team of experienced project managers.
Responsibilities include: Lead project teams in their efforts to define project goals, objectives, requirements, deliverables and measures of success. Provide complete documentation and assure agreement and support from project sponsors and Senior Management. Provide thorough and accurate analysis of current business practices and demonstrate a clear understanding of the business areas' objectives and long-term strategies. Provide consultation at the business areas request related to business processes, new opportunities due to technology, and/or other projects that may impact their area. Analyze potential software alternatives and recommend solutions that best reflect the business area's priorities and JFG's technical infrastructure requirements. Focus on providing an objective, independent view for the recommendation. Effectively manage vendor software implementation projects and/or internal development projects. Effectively manage vendor relationships which may include contract negotiation, service level delivery and product development. Maintain and develop detailed project plans, meet dates and exceed client expectations. Actively follow the JFG project process to ensure clients have a consistent approach to project definition, requirements, testing, implementation and reporting. Continue to identify areas of improvement for the JFG project process. Participate in educational opportunities to keep current with industry trends and advancements, including review of periodicals and on-line news groups, conferences and professional groups. Required Skills
B.S. or B.A. degree and three to five years project management experience or similar business experience. General knowledge of financial business processes. Ability to see the big picture and develop vision of long term technology solutions combined with business strategies. Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects, exhibit strong organizational skills, and meet deadlines and maintain quality.Willingness to promote, embrace and reflect the JFG vision and mission.Experience with project repository tools (Sharepoint) is a plusExperience with Agile Methodologies or Data warehousing projects is a plus.
