A well-capitalized bank in the Newport News, Virginia area is currently searching for an ambitious, entrepreneurial, multi-talented professional with proven customer prospecting and relationship management experience to be their new Branch Manager.  This bank is a market leader in their region, offering superior customer service and a full range of financial services and products tailored to meet the needs of the individual community. As branch manager the ideal candidate will be the key to providing superior customer service and management.  The manager is responsible for providing positive role-modeling for the branch associates and offering leadership in a relationship-banking environment.  The right candidate is willing to engage with business leaders in the local community, creating a presence in the Chamber of Commerce, attending charitable events, and acting as ambassador for the bank.  Minimum requirements:  · Outstanding leadership ability.· Proven team builder with ability to recruit and retain top talent.· Proven business development experience.  Demonstrated success through outbound calling/networking.· Minimum of 3-5 years of banking experience.
