Help Desk Analyst

W-2 CANDIDATE ONLY!

 

Project Description:  Provide in-depth day-to-day support and lead problem solving and implementation efforts for specific technology products or applications.
- Apply knowledge of standard information system products and services to assist and resolve information system problems of callers and other help desk specialists.
- Data and Functional Security Administration for business applications and external domain account security.
- Ensure management escalation of high priority issues, prioritize problem resolution efforts and coordinate administrative work between shifts.
- Lead and train less experienced Help Desk Specialists on assorted technical and customer-service issues and participate in analyzing client-identified issues related to procedures and standards.
- Other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum 3 to 5 years of technical experience required. Jobholder must have a working knowledge of installing, configuring and supporting application software on single and multi-user environments. S/he must have extensive experience with anticipating, recognizing and resolving various technical (software, application or operational) problems. S/he must also possess in-depth knowledge of products and services offered by the Help Desk and able to provide appropriate support for product use. SQL, Citrix, and Microsoft Active Directory experience considered a plus.

 

Required Skills:  Help Desk, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Hardware, RAS, Microsoft Office, Software Installation and Upgrade.

 

Will be paid on W-2 basis only.  Must be able to provide documentation, proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.  We will sponsor Visa.

 

This 4+ month position starts ASAP.
