The primary emphasis of this position will be in reporting and data management of HR data from PeopleSoft 8.8 HCMS, an HR Datamart using BusinessObjects and Microsoft Access. HRIS Analysts as this level are responsible for understanding HR and Payroll data models and will assist customers in the definition of requirements for ongoing and ad hoc reporting needs. The position will also require the understanding of business requirements and assisting in the development of functional specifications used to guide development work or process changes to the reporting system. Responsibilities include working with customers to understand and provide data which meets reporting needs, and serves an important role in ensuring data integrity of the HR Datamart to support the requirements of operational business units. This includes working closely with technical development and support groups as well as end users.2+ years HRIS experience in a medium to large corporate environment required. • 2+ years of PeopleSoft and/or Business Objects experience is strongly preferred • 2+ years in designing and developing MS Access databases • BA degree in HR and a minor in MIS or equivalent experience • Experience supporting ongoing and ad hoc report requests for HR and Payroll data • Experience providing production support for one or more HRIS applications • Experience working with technical development staff and supporting reporting applications • Ability to use SQL to query HRIS databases • Experience documenting functional requirements Washington Mutual is an equal opportunity employer.
