Top 10 Mortgage Company is looking for an Econometrician / Economist who is advanced in economic principals. This consultant will be working with industry data and will be modeling, analyzing industry data and reporting to upper management. Experience with building and developing models in a new modeling group is a huge plus.  Analyzes requests, designs methodology and will do research and reporting on industry reports. Will use Economy.com to research and gather data. This consultant will be looking at macro economics variable and will be using this information on a daily basis (employment, house prices, income, etc.)  Ideal candidate is one that will ask the why’s? Must have experience in Logistic and linear regression skills. Must have experience in productionlized  modeling, strong documentation skills. Data manipulation skills and data mining skills required. Someone with a Quant. and financial background would be desirable.
