We also manage to keep a sense of humor along the way.  So if you’re ready for WaMu, read on!   Appraisal Coordinators are responsible for coordinating, entering and updating appraisal database and monitoring the appraisal status’ from receipt of service requests to completion of appraisals for a Regional Office in Commercial Appraisal Department. Appraisal Coordinators have good organizational and clerical skills, an eye for details and the ability to multi-task, and operate in a high volume production oriented environment, assisting the Appraisal Department in meeting aggressive customer service goals. Coordinators are the central contact for staff, as well as internal and external customers. They will assist the Regional Manager in special assignments as required.  On occasion coordinators will assist managers outside their local region to cover for other regional coordinators.    • Ability to type at least 35 WPM • Completion of Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices course is preferred, but not required. • Basic understanding of appraisal policies & guidelines is preferred but not required. • 2 or more years progressively responsible related work experience in an appraisal or loan environment is preferred by not required. • Must be an advanced user of Excel and Word. • Must be able to multi-task in a very deadline driven environment.  Washington Mutual is an equal opportunity employer.
