Client Manager-Middle Market Lending-Bellevue
Banner Bank is seeking a Client Manager-Middle Market Lending for our Bellevue Lending Center.
Position Purpose
Originate and maintain the commercial loans according to Middle Market guidelines, which meet Bank standards and contribute to the long term profitability of the Bank’s operations. Extensive knowledge of commercial lending policies and procedures. Extensive knowledge of lending services and related areas. Good managerial, communication and sales skills. Education/Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or accounting strongly preferred.
2. Seven or more years previous experience or demonstrated ability in credit analysis.
3. Familiar with Word, Excel, Access or similar programs.
4. Five years experience with credit systems is mandatory.
5. Requires ability to manage the process of sophisticated and complex facilities including participations/syndications.
6. Requires ability to understand and carry out assigned duties effectively.
7. Requires excellent financial analytical abilities, verbal and written communication skills.Job Requirements/Skills
1. A high level of analytical ability to determine the loan risk involved and recommend credit limitations. 2. This position will involve significant client interaction and an aptitude for marketing Corporate Banking
products is essential.
3. Incumbent will be an active participant in team calling goals involving joint retention calls and prospecting activity.Essential Functions
1. Conduct an active business development program that targets new customer prospects and business.
2. Provide supervision and training to assigned staff members
3. Meets goals and objectives established for the position by senior management.
4. Prepare and present for approval the credit analysis on borrowing requests.
5. Negotiate terms and conditions within assigned parameters.
6. Ensure timely and thorough monitoring of all credits through periodic reviews continual analysis, and proper documentation.
7. Analyzes data provided by credit bureaus, other financial institutions and financial institution files.
8. Establishing and maintain proper documents relating to the perfection of the Bank’s lien position on loans secured by various collateral.
9. May supervise loan documentation and support activities for Corporate Banking team.
10. Implement and maintain loan monitoring system.
11. Trains and develops subordinate personnel as appropriate.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.Physical Requirements
1. Stand 5-10% of workday.
2. Sit 90 - 95% of workday.
3. Operate computer keyboard, typewriter, 10 key and other office equipment.
4. Occasionally lift 25 pounds.
