Cash Room Teller
FT M - F $10.50/hr 12:30pm to 9pm
PT M-F 4pm – 9pm ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION
GENERAL FUNCTION:
Through utilizing electronic equipment (or manually), each cash services teller will be responsible for separating currency and checks, counting and verifying contents of customers daily bank deposits and preparing change orders by securing the designated denomination from vault supplies of currency and coin. S/he will also fill ATM cassettes with required denominations of currency.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Cash Vault Services Teller will be responsible for:
· Opening and verifying contents of shipments against receipts
· Separating checks and currency
· Counting and verifying each shipment
· Consolidating multiple-location customer deposits.
· Preparing deposit slips
· Preparing change orders.
· Duties as assigned
· Counting currency using currency counting machine
· Filling ATM cassettes with currency
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
· Ability to read, count add, subtract, write, and record numbers
· Ability to perform simple computer data entry.
· Ability and skill in using 10-key adding machine
· Unrestricted ability to bend, squat, stoop, stand, walk, lift (up to 50 lbs.), sit, push and pull
· Unrestricted wrist, hands and finger dexterity.
· Good Telephone etiquette and communication
· Good Credit
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE:
· Compliance with all Corporate, Regional and Branch policies
· Maintenance of safety and security policies published and distributed by the Branch office.
· Thorough and accurate paperwork
· Balancing on a daily basis
