Requisition ID: 10496 Job Title: Business Sales Rep I Functional Area: Professional-Sales and Marketing Location: Madison, WI Employment Status: Full Time Description: The Business Sales Representative's primary responsibility is to sell BankCard Services and Direct Merchant Processing products, solutions, services to new merchant clients. This will be performed by cultivating merchant referrals within the respective sales territory. Immediate sales territory consists of the Central States Market. Position will require 90% travel to various merchant locations, M&I Bank Branch Offices, and Agent Bank Offices within sales territory. This position requires a high school diploma and two years of BankCard, Banking, and/or sales experience. In addition, the successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Access, proven negotiation skills, the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and be a self starter.
