We also manage to keep a sense of humor along the way.  So if you’re ready for WaMu, read on! The Business Data Analyst-Sr will be responsible for managing and administrating Commercial Group Risk Management's ORACLE database and SAS analytical systems. Act as the Oracle and SAS Workgroup Adminstrator supporting at least 10 individuals. Advocate for Commercial Group users in a shared analytical environment. Perform routine testing and production duties related to transferring and archiving data, running statistical models/scripts, and generating reports. Create automated processes and scripts to streamline manual analytical/reporting processes. Architect technical solutions for ad hoc requests. Prepare and maintain systems and process documentation.Extensive, Specialized Knowledge of:  •  Data management including data maintenance, data quality assurance, metadata management, and basic database administration; • Familiarity with analytical methods including statisitical modeling and reporting; • Credit risk management principles and practices; • Banking and financial services, products, and processes; • Managing multiple and/or large complex projects; • Preparing and presenting complex technical information for a variety of audiences including senior leaders. • Technical resource management   Qualifications Technical Skills Required: • Oracle 9i/10g • SQL Server 2000/2005 • PL/SQL • Familiarity with ETL software • Experience using SAS in data management applications   Bachelor’s Degree required Masters degree preferred   Washington Mutual is an equal opportunity employer.
