Branch Manager - Bellevue, WA
Are you looking for a non-traditional banking opportunity? Beal Bank, one of the most successful privately owned banks in the nation, is growing and seeking a Branch Manager for a new retail branch. We are a wholesale bank with a focus on deposits and related services. Our branch product lines are limited to money market accounts, certificates of deposit (including individual retirement accounts) and statement savings accounts. Loan origination experience is not necessary and there are no sales requirements.
At Beal Bank, Branch Managers are fully hands-on team members. In addition to supervising an assistant manager and 3-4 new account representatives, you will be working directly with customers and our core banking platform on a daily basis.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Security and safety of banking center, personnel and customers
· Training of personnel to include Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), as well as procedures and implementation of new products
· Auditing and verification of new accounts and file maintenance performed by staff
· All aspects of personnel, including hiring and disciplinary actions
· insure branch appearance, furniture and equipment are in optimal condition
· Assisting in special projects as needed
· Every aspect of customer service, including, but not limited to, serving as a new account representative
· Preparing and submitting various reports, as required or requested Reconciliation of various general ledger accounts specific to banking center operations Additional duties as may be assigned
This position requires 3-5 years prior banking management experience; strong interpersonal/customer service skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to adapt to change; and working knowledge of retail operations and regulatory compliance. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet navigation is also required.
