Armored Services Technician
Join the most progressive team in our industry! Loomis is seeking highly qualified individuals to become Certified Armored Service Technicians in our dynamic Seattle area.
FULL TIME
Starting wage $12.50/hr
Armored Services Technician
GENERAL FUNCTION:
Drive vehicles weighing from 10,000 to 28,000 lbs. gvw a minimum of 8 hours per day, 5 days a week, in accordance with a designated route, making stops at a minimum of 50 customer locations.
Pick-up or deliver customer change orders/deposits, carrying a 50 lbs. by hand or up to several hundred pounds by cart.
Load and unload vehicle cargo consisting of several bags of coin, weighing as much as 40lbs per item, between 2 to 4 times daily, 5 days per week.
Count items, record amounts and serial numbers, sign receipts and manifest.
Communicate verbally with customers, via telephone or 2-way radio to report emergencies and to approach Looms facility.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
· Ability to perform repetitious heavy lifting and carriage of items by hand and in unrestricted manner for significant distances.
· Ability to push/pull carts loaded with cargo weighing up to several hundred lbs.
· Unrestricted ability to bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, turn and reach out and up
· Possession of valid Washington State driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle safely in accordance with Driver Physical Qualifications established by the U.S. Department of Transportation.
· Ability to read and speak English effectively to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, and to respond to official inquiries reports and records.
· Ability to write and record numbers by hand.
· Ability to meet State requirements for handgun license/permits.
· Good Credit – Not more than $1,000 in Past Due or Delinquent bills
· No more than 2 moving violations on Driving Record in past 2 years
· Must be 21 years or older.

· Thorough and accurate paperwork submitted on a timely basis

· Clean shaven, short hair cut
