Responsible for the design, development and implementation of Citrix Presentation Server environment. Design and maintain Active Directory components for Citrix environment. Determine user requirements, research, recommend, implement and maintain new application and desktop delivery systems. Lead project management within defined specialty area. Research and make recommendations on specific areas of IT infrastructure and architecture. Implement system or process specific procedures to maintain stability and performance. Define and document server build standards. Provide additional support for printing environments and server hardware. Manage a variety of network infrastructure components. Provide mid-level analytical and project support to end users as well as backup support for other network team members.Required Skills



Design and administer Citrix Presentation Server environment, including user and account rights, objects, and group policy management.

Periodic assessment and modification of system design to accommodate user requirements for consistent, reliable access to applications and desktop.

Determine and document corporate standards for Windows server operating systems.

Manage and maintain Citrix infrastructure including licensing, printing, clients, data store, Installation Manager and load distribution.

Work with other IS associates to successfully install applications in a multi-user environment.

Manage operating system & software upgrades to optimize end user experience.

Create and manage group policies as they pertain to Citrix/multi user environment.

Work with IS and Line of Business Associates to understand computing requirements and deliver applications and desktops to remote users.

Research, design and implement desktop delivery environment, leading initiative across different functional teams to meet end user requirements.

Research and evaluate new technologies, making recommendations for adoption to senior management.Required Experience



Minimum 3 years relevant network management experience in a Microsoft Windows and multi user environment.

Extensive experience in designing and administering Citrix infrastructure is required.

Must have thorough understanding of application and desktop delivery to remote users with thin client devices.

Familiarity with Active Directory design and configuration in a variety of diverse business environments is required.

Must be able to lead and drive large scale projects through evaluation, testing and implementation while bringing together employees from various disciplines to function as a cohesive team.

Must be able to break down large projects into component tasks, establishing and meeting milestone dates to deliver the projects on-time and on-budget.

Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.

Must be able to work independently to drive initiatives forward and follow complex problems through to resolution.

Experience with virtualization technology, both server and desktop, as well as latest technologies in application/desktop delivery to remote users is a plus.

Ability to assess current and long term user requirements and modify system design appropriately.

Basic scripting ability for automation of tasks.

Effective planning and prioritization abilities.

Creative vision of both technology solutions and business strategies.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects, meet deadlines and maintain quality.

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science is preferred.

Microsoft and Citrix certifications preferred.
