Welding/Manufacturing Engineer
Welding Engineer duties will include providing welding expertise and technical support to; manufacturing, sales, product engineering, supply chain, field service, and service centers. The qualified individual will help resolve manufacturing and field issues, direct Procedure Qualification Record and Weld Procedure Specification tests, manage weld test related programs, and participate in quality improvement and cost reduction efforts. Incumbendt will function as a Team Leader on manufacturing projects and/or capital projects. Prepares documentation and case study for the justification, procurement, installation and commissioning of capital equipment. Will provide relevant knowledge and expertise to aid the workgroup and company in its Lean Transformation including Lean Leadership, 6-S, Value Stream Mapping, ACP. - Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering Technology and 5 years of relevant experience required. - Tool Design and Knowledge would be extremely beneficial.- Experience in a Machine Shop required. - Experience in thermal processing and alternate manufacturing methods and assembly is beneficial. - Excellent communication skills and a team mentality.Leadership, Six-Sigma, Team Leadership and Team Facilitation, Root Cause Problem Solving, VA/VE, and Design for Manufacturing, Lean. heavy plate, flex core/arc welding, heavy manufacturing, fixtures, gauges, process documentationEmail your resumePlease click here,or copy and paste the following link into your email browser, to email your resume.
