Under general supervision, this position is responsible for the performance of routine Quality Assurance and Six Sigma activities. This individual operates with a good working knowledge of, and is competent in the methods, procedures, and interpretation of results of routine Quality Assurance and Six Sigma activities.
Typical Duties:
Assist Lithium Ion laboratory in quality-related activities. Assist in preparing quality responses to RFPs, RFQs, PPAPs, and customer program deliverables. Lead all PDfSS and Six Sigma projects related to the Advanced Power Solutions Group. Perform statistical analysis, process capability, and gage repeatability and reproducibility studies to determine compliance with Customers’ statistical process control requirements and report results. Define and acquire or design tools, fixtures, and equipment for process control and product testing. Assist in design validation, prototype, and production validation builds and testing. Participate in the development, implementation, and review of Quality System documentation. Participate in and/or conduct Internal Audits and Design Reviews. Assist in establishing suppliers, auditing supplier quality, and monitoring supplier quality metrics. Work with suppliers on PPAP submittals and Engineering changes and create and maintain a list of supplier PPAP submissions. Review supplier material disposition status regularly and submit Supplier Nonconformance Reports, as required. Monitor corrective actions from the supplier and report on status of all 8D reports. Establish and maintain good working relationships resulting in excellent customer satisfaction. Provide leadership in troubleshooting, to analyze a timely resolution to material and/or any internal problem, which may cause an interruption of world-class product delivery to our customers. Lead and participate in training sessions, including problem solving, SPC, and measurement analysis. Conduct all work activities following company safety policies and procedures. · Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, or Science with 5 — 10 years of related work experience
· Six Sigma Green Belt, required.
· Experience in Wound Cell Battery Manufacturing Technology, preferred.
· Previous experience with ISO/QS/TS Quality Systems, APQP, FMEA, and PPAP required.
· Proficient in statistical analysis, including software such as Minitab.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Visio or equivalent software.
· Travel expectation is 25% between Milwaukee, Suppliers, and Joint Venture sites.

Position is in a test lab, plant and corporate environment. Position requires work with potentially hazardous products in a controlled, safe environment
