PLASTIC INJECTION MOLDING PROCESS TECHNICIAN
We are a nationally recognized contract manufacturing company located in north Alabama.
We are 85 miles south of Chattanooga Tennessee, 100 miles west of Atlanta, Georgia and 60 miles north of Birmingham, Alabama.
We provide in house service to our customers such as Plastic Injection Molding, Circuit Boards, Assembly and Product Design.
We have an excellent career opportunity for an experienced Plastic Injection Molding Process Technician with a hands-on style. This position reports to the Molding Process Engineer.
Be able to identify and implement cost savings projects.
Must have strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electricity, robots and automation machinery.
Must have experience working with a wide range of molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and plastic resins.
Must be able to trouble-shoot molding processes, and establish repeatable processes for new molds.
Must be able to assess processing issues for Class A automotive parts and determine appropriate course of action.
Must be able to assist in developing Preventive Maintenance Procedures for all equipment.
Must be able to assist Molding Process Engineer in all molding related tasks.
Must be able to provide Molding Process Engineer / Molding Manager with molding equipment assessments and personnel skill level assessments.
Must be able to work within the standards of QS / ISO and Continuous Improvement.
Preferred applicant should have a Technical Degree in Plastic Engineering Technology and 3 – 5 years experience as a Mold Process Technician.
