Manufacturing Manager

MPI International, Inc. (MPI) is a leading manufacturer of precision metal components and assemblies for the automotive industry. We have an opportunity in our Deerfield, Wisconsin location for a Manufacturing Manager.

Our position requires a degreed individual (BSME preferred) with 7 to 10 years manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in an automotive-related industry.  An individual with both management and engineering experience is required. Previous hands-on engineering experience is preferred.

 

The responsibilities of this position include directing and managing all plant manufacturing operations with overall responsibilities for production, maintenance, quality and other production-related activities.  Communicate and provide direction and leadership to production managers, front-line supervisors and all manufacturing departments. Ensure increasing levels of customer and employee satisfaction while improving the efficiency of materials, production and work force.

 

The ideal candidate will possess the following experience, knowledge, skills and abilities:

-Technical skills in Lean Manufacturing techniques, Kaisen, process improvement and Six Sigma principles.

-Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization.

-Hands-on, team oriented and committed to business improvement processes.

-Strong problem solving capabilities.

-Ability to manage multiple priorities.

-Professionalism and leadership qualities.

-Motivated, self-starter.
