Overview
Tenaris is the leading global manufacturer and supplier of tubular products and services used in the drilling, completion and production of oil and gas. It has pipe manufacturing facilities in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Romania, the United States and Venezuela and customer service centers in more than 20 countries worldwide. Through its integrated global network of manufacturing, R&D centers and service facilities, Tenaris is working with customers to meet their needs for the timely supply of high performance products in increasingly complex operating environments.
Through its manufacturing facilities in North America, Tenaris produces a full range of welded and seamless pipe, premium connections and specialized coiled tubing for the most extreme drilling applications. The North American locations have an annual production capacity of 1.8 million tons of welded line pipe and 250,000 tons of seamless steel pipe.
We are seeking an HR Manager to direct and monitor on all matters concerning human resources department and provides staff assistance to supervisors and department heads in developing, communicating, and carrying out the Company’s personnel policies.
Main Responsibilities
-Assess organizational capabilities, employee/management relations and develop an HR plan that support the efficient and effective recruiting, deployment, development and retention of employees
-Build business relationships with location and regional line and HR management that includes open and professional communications, sound advice and counsel, risk management and also serve as a balanced advocate for employees at the location
-Aligns HR policies with those of Tenaris Global and Tenaris USA and plans and formulates general personnel policies, including workforce planning which are unique to the needs of the Texas Arai facility
-Oversees compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
-Oversees recruiting, interviewing, testing, selection, placement and orientation of new employees in alignment with Tenaris USA policies and proceedures
-Coordinates the appraisal, transfer, promotion, layoff, recall, demotion, and termination of hourly employees
-Administers compensation programs for both exempt and nonexempt employees in coordination with the USA HR Compensation/Organization Department
-Administers employee benefit plans and programs and the disclosure of information concerning benefits to employees in coordination with the USA Benefits Department
-Maintains personnel records and evaluating personnel programs and policies and works with the USA Personnel Administration Department to ensure that information stored in SAP HR/PeopleSoft is correct and that changes are submitted in a timely manner
