Store Planner

We are currently hiring a Store Planner position located in our Foot Locker's HeadQuarters on 34th Street, New York.

 

Responsibilities:

Create preliminary plan design drawings for new store development and remodels.  Negotiate prototypical standards with Landlord Tenant Coordinators, and manage changes with Architects.  Track all Division Design Review changes to coordinate with working drawings.  Assist in day-to-day CADD requirements relative to the management of prototype documents.  This position will be responsible to calculate the basic requirements of capacity of store design in support of the approved CAR.  It is responsible for the interpretation of prototypes to actual field conditions.  Negotiating the resultant to be accepted by the division and the landlord.

 

Job Requirements:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Associates degree; or equivalent from a college or technical school; or 2 – 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

 

TECHNICAL SKILLS, CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

 

Must have thorough working knowledge of Auto CAD 2002, with knowledge of 2005 a plus.

Must have basic ability to understand, read and draw architectural details related to the development of store plans.
