Military Installation Planner
EDAW, Inc., a world leader in planning, landscape architecture, and environmental services, is seeking a Military Installation Planner for the Virginia Beach, Virginia office.
Duties:
The candidate will serve as project planner/manager on military installation planning projects. The candidate will be responsible for developing master plans, special studies, requirements documentations, facility utilization studies, etc. The candidate will also provide input for land use, recreation and institutional planning reports and documents produced by EDAW.
Experience Requirements:
One to three years of relevant military installation planning experience is required. Experience with Navy installation planning is a plus.
Requirements:
Strong analytical skills Excellent writing and communication skills Ability to work independently as well as in multi-disciplinary teams Proficiency with MS Office Suite required Proficiency with ArcGIS a plus Proficiency with AutoCAD a plus Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite or computer graphic skills a plus Must be able to obtain a DOD Common Access Card
Position requires travel.
