Intermediate and Senior Piping Designers

REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERMEDIATE PIPING DESIGNER:
1. EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of two CAD classes and College/Drafting degree preferred.
2. SKILLS: Knowledge of PC's and proficient with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. Must be proficient in drafting of P&ID’s, piping plans, sections, ISO’s and be able to develop bills of materials. The intermediate designer will be expected to have an understanding of basic piping layout practices and have the ability to develop piping layouts with assistance from a Sr. level designer. Good communication skills and organizational abilities are necessary. Will be expected to help train junior designers. Will require some driving to plants for meetings and to perform field survey work (a current driver's license, car and proof of insurance is needed). Experience with Bentley AutoPLANT 3D and Microstation is a plus.
3. EXPERIENCE: Two or more years drafting experience and one or more years design experience, preferably in petrochemical/chemical plants and refineries. Requires field work experience and knowledge of field note taking.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SENIOR PIPING DESIGNER:
1. EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent required. College drafting degree preferred.
2. SKILLS: Knowledge of PC's and proficient with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. The senior designer must have the ability to develop equipment and piping layouts with little or no direction from design group leaders and project engineers. Will be expected to develop scopes, engineering estimates, schedules, and train intermediate and junior designers. Good communication skills and organizational abilities are necessary. Will require some driving to plants for meetings and to perform field survey work (a current driver's license, car and proof of insurance is needed). Experience with Bentley AutoPLANT 3D and Microstation is a plus.
3. EXPERIENCE: Five or more years piping design and field experience in petrochemical/chemical plants and refineries.
