Engineer 3 - Environmental

HSMM AECOM is searching for an Engineer 2 to: Design potable water wells, distribution lines, pump stations, elevated tanks. Design wastewater pump stations, sanitary sewage gravity and pressure pipe conveyance systems. Design storm sewers. Develop hydraulic models of water and sanitary sewage systems. Perform Sanitary Sewage Evaluation Studies (SSES). Perform cost estimating. Perform construction observation and contract administration. Coordinate with clients and with regulatory agencies. Coordinate with departmental and interdepartmental staff to process work. Provide technical leadership. Job Requirements:  B. S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering. 4 to 6 years experience with duties/responsibilities listed above and working on a team-based organization. Registered Professional Engineer in South Carolina. Excellent written, verbal, and general computer skills. Working knowledge of South Carolina state laws, regulations and policies regarding potable water and sanitary sewage transportation and treatment. Conversant with Microsoft Word, Power Point, AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling software. Experience in water/sewer planning. Experience with WaterCAD, InfoWorks, XP SWMM. Experience in water treatment and sanitary sewage treatment. Member of the SC WEA/AWWA. Ability to meet with public officials and others responsible for the management and operation of public water and sewer systems. EEO M/F/D/VCBExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
