ENGINEER
Architectural Testing is a national independent testing laboratory in the building products industry and a leader in building envelope performance testing. Architectural Testing has been in business for 35 years and has eight labs nationwide.We continuously respond to the needs of our clients by providing the testing and engineering services they require. As we continue to grow, we have immediate openings for experienced engineers to join our Professional Engineering Services Group at our York, Pennsylvania corporate headquarters.Responsibilities include: Conduct engineering analyses Propose designs for fenestration (door, window, curtain wall and skylight) systems Meet with clients to review their product testing requirements and develop testing plans to meet their objectives Research new product testing opportunities and develop test protocolsRequirements desired: Fenestration industry experience Structural analysis and design experience Working knowledge of building codes and design standards Knowledge of performance requirements including wind load, snow load, hurricane load and bomb blast loadings Excellent communication skills - both written and oral Strong computer skillsEducation and Licensing: B.S. in Engineering - Civil, Structural, Mechanical or Architectural E.I.T. or P.E. desiredBENEFITS Include: Medical, Dental and Vision Insurances Paid leave time Paid holidays Short and Long term disability Tuition reimbursement 401(k) with company match For more in formation on Architectural Testing, please visit our website at www.archtest.com.
