Position Title:Architect/Classical Designer

Our client, a Fortune 500 company, is seeking an Architect/Classical Designer for a Direct- Hire position with the following skills: BS in an Architectural program.A minimum of 5 years of architectural design in a variety of infrastructure, industrial, and commercial construction projects, including at least 1 year working on Capital Improvement projects for a Federal Agency.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to demonstrate a working level of knowledge of the Microsoft Office Software Suite, AutoCAD, and SpecsIntact.Professional registration and LEED-accredited professional preferred.

Duties

 

· The candidate will be responsible for managing resource requirements and business needs of multiple ongoing and pending projects and proposals.

· The Architect will be in charge of preparing proposals and architectural man-hour estimates for new architectural work, managing projects and/or architectural work on projects, including preparing conceptual drawings, studying layouts and arrangements, detailing architectural plans and specifications.

· This position requires that the candidate execute project schedules safely, within budget and in conformance with project and customer requirements.

· Direct the coordination with other team members required to assure schedules, cost estimates and strategies are accurate and executable.

· Assist in the preparation of project and contract modification cost estimates; work with available cost estimation tools as well as completing independent research and utilizing professional experience.

· Perform evaluations of technical proposals and provide recommendations related to discipline.
