Assist in the direction of architectural personnel on projects. Provide technical leadership to assigned projects to ensure that all technical work produced is of high quality, accurate, and within the context of schedule and budget. Provide supervision and technical guidance in Architecture. Assist as needed in the preparation of departmental budgets.• Prepare designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, workingdrawings, develop details and edit specifications• Assure conformance with standards, established practices, applicable codes, and the technical adequacy of design• Adapt and modify design features and operational methods to meet a variety of situations• Prepare architectural reports and progress narratives• Coordinate specifications covering architectural projects• Coordinate the preliminary and final drawings in accordance with basic design• Perform field assignments and follow-up consultation on architectural projects duringconstruction• Review shop drawings, Requests For Information (RFIs), and Requests ForClarification (RFCs)• Participate in the preparation of architectural proposals, reports, and specifications• Implement and follow DMJMH+N Quality Assurance Program proceduresEDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Environmental Design.Qualificationssee above
