Salesperson - Consumer and Commercial Equipment

 

Job Function:

 

Represents the Dealership for the purpose of selling Consumer and Commercial Equipment (C&CE) providing solutions for customer equipment needs.

 

Essential Duties:

·          Represents the Dealership in the sale of consumer and commercial equipment to customers in a defined sales area.

·          Monitors and reports on trends in customer's businesses, potentially affecting future purchases of products/services.

·          Maintains current product knowledge on all equipment.

·          Facilitates product demonstrations for equipment and participates in local trade shows and dealership promotional events.

·          Creates and develops customer accounts in the consumer, business-to-business and governmental market sectors.

·          Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assists customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

·          Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and  internet functions.

·          Solid communication and inter-personal skills.

·          Ability to work flexible hours.

·          High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

·          Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports.

·          Basic equipment and technical knowledge a plus.
