Environmental Laboratories, a growing laboratory in the Dallas, Texas area, has an opening for a QA specialist to augment our current QA Department staff.
Applicants will be evaluated based on the following criteria.
Experience with the application and maintenance of the NELAC Standards as they apply to an environmental laboratory and keeping up with changes to the standards.
A BS Degree in Chemistry or a closely related field of study.
A strong work ethic.
An ability to work proactively and independently.
Demonstrated management abilities.
Good organization skills.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to keep good detailed records.
Good proof reading skills.
Extensive data review and laboratory auditing experience.
Good speaking, writing and communications skills.
Very familiar with computers and MS Office suite of applications.
Ability to tactfully investigate, document and implement root-cause analyses and corrective actions.
Dedication to work toward and meet deadlines.
Prior experience as an analyst with diverse inorganic and organic analysis experience is very desirable.
