Factory Engineer Skills Required: Factory Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, BSME, farm, sugar, beet, Agriculture, crop, sugar cane Job Description: We are currently looking for an experienced and qualified Factory Engineer to take responsibility for the supervision, and implementation of various factory projects that impact quality, productivity, safety, and cost for our sugar processing facility.The ideal candidate will bring with the following experience/qualifications:* A minimum of a four year bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. * Must possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be able to demonstrate sound practice of engineering principles. * Must be capable of working independently with little direct supervision as well as demonstrate good leadership capabilities. * Must demonstrate solid project management skills including but not limited to planning, organizing, execution and control of assigned projects for a successful outcome.In this role, you will have a number of varying duties and responsibilities depending upon the project, but in general, you will be tasked with:*Develops and maintains procedures, standards, and programs in support of the factory quality, productivity, safety, and cost goals under the direction of the Manager. * Demonstrates broad based proficiency in technical areas that support factory operations and is able to achieve successful completion of tasks or assignments with little or no supervision. *Recommends and then supervises approved projects that enhance factory performance in regards to Safety, Quality, Timeliness and Cost; Supports planning, organizing, and controlling of factory projects. Tracks project details, scheduling, milestone accomplishments, and other related information as may be determined necessary or as requested. *Maintains oversight of facility corrective actions for improvement, keeps logs, charts and other necessary information in support the corrective actions. *Demonstrates ability to use computers and software such as Auto-CADD, Digital Imaging, Spreadsheets, and Word Processing programs to create professional quality support materials. *Assists in upkeep of plant documentation systems (i.e. routings, B.O.M.s, operation sheets, tool logs, MSDS logs, etc.).If this sounds like an applicable role, please do get in touch right away for more details.
