Facility Superintendent

Southern States Cooperative, Inc. has an immediate opeining for a Facility Superintendent in Hertford, NC.  Provide service support for Territory Sales Team.  Supervise personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling and policy compliance.  Maintain, repair and oversee equipment.  Provide inventory control, manage expenses, and enforce corporate standards in the crop center in located in Eastern NC. Also manage 2 spreader trucks, 2 Hagie sprayers, 2 road tractors,  5 trailer tenders, 1500 tons dry storage, and 500 tons liquid.  Location averages 6,000 tons of dry fertilizer sales, and 3,000 tons liquid sales annually.

 

Ideal candidate will have 3 years supervisory experience, some mechanical aptitude and computer skills.  Must be able to initiate and expand GPS/VRT technology.
