Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Coordinator

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Coordinator Description: Establishes Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions and other electronic communication between company and suppliers, supports existing transactions and provides technical support when EDI and/or other electronic communication problems or errors exist. Identifies and drives process improvements relative to their scope of duties. Coordinates related activities between units to facilitate additional transaction start-up and to standardize EDI functions. Serves as central point-of-contact for any EDI related problems. Conducts EDI training for unit personnel and suppliers as needed. Also may coordinate with Unit Information Systems to ensure EDI programming is in place and operating within the framework of EDI. Requirements: Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to adapt to changing priorities, environments, and audiences, ability to work independently and take initiative to bring resolution to outstanding issues. Previous working experience with/knowledge of SAP. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
