In support of the Boeing 787, we currently have positions available for Wire Installation Designers / Engineers in Everett, WA.

 

Description:

 

This full time position involves the design and creation of 3D wire harness routing for the Boeing 787 airplane using the provided CAD tools (ENOVIA/CATIA V5). The routing is created following provided technical rules and guidance.

 

We provide two full weeks of training specific to design tools and wiring/aerospace industry.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

§ Responsible for design activity for given task/zone via Team Lead instructions

§ Design 3D wire harness geometry using the provided CAD tools (CATIA V5/ ENOVIA)

§ Self check and correct inconsistent data

§ Group check the work of other Designers

§ Update and back up of working files

 

Requirements:

 

We are looking for candidates with strong 3D spatial design abilities, CATIA V5, ENOVIA or equivalent 3D CAD design experience and a Bachelors preferred. Knowledge of aerospace design environment or experience in mechanical engineering design environment a plus. This individual needs to be detail oriented, have good written and oral communication skills and strong computer skills, including MS Windows and MS Office suite.
