Apex Systems, Inc. is currently searching for a Test Engineer for a permanent opportunity with a large organization in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. Responsibilities:
· Analyze, design, code and implement fixtures and software for automated testing of circuit cards and system test
· Work with design engineering on design for testability
· Work with design engineering on developing test plans
· Work with production personnel to implement tests into the production area
· Work with test technicians to build test fixtures and equipment
· Work with production personnel on rejects and day to day issues
· Create and maintain documentation (i.e. test plans, test procedures, routings, time standards)
· Support quality efforts
Qualifications:
· 5+ years experience as a test engineer in an electronic environment
· Must be able to analyze digital and analog circuitry
· Must be able to design with digital and analog components
· Must be familiar with LabView
· Must be familiar with Windows NT environment
· Must be familiar with automated functional test equipment
· Must have a BS degree in electrical engineering, computer science or electrical engineering technology
· Must be able to communicate well both orally and in writing
· Must be a team player and a self-starter
