Description Korry Electronics, a subsidiary of Esterline, is the internationally recognized leader in the design and manufacture of electro-optical display products, subsystems and discrete components for the aerospace and defense industries. We are a cutting-edge, industry pacesetter in many technologies (such as Night Vision and LED) that drive advances in critical applications for man-machine interfaces.We currently have an opening for a Test Engineer. RESPONSIBILITIES: Budgets test program costs at the time of the new business proposal Creates test plans and procedures Resolves issues with plans and procedures and negotiates agreements with customers Manages all aspects of tooling and equipment development in support of the test activities Participates is design reviews and presents plans and status of the test program to customers Communicates the status of the program to the program management office and the business units Oversees the testing activities and works with the engineering team and the program management office to report and resolve issues related to the test program Coordinates scheduling and cost activities with outside test facilities Travels to various test laboratories to observe sub-contracted testing Documents the results of testing in Test Reports REQUIREMENTS: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Electronic or Mechanical engineering degree 3 years related experience in environmental testingPREFERRED: Knowledge of RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461 Testing Techniques Experience working in Aerospace PEOPLE make it happen at Korry.
