The company designs and builds armored vehicles and subsystems for the U.S. Army, Marine Corps, and international customers, and is the defense industry's largest supplier of armored military vehicles.Description of Work: Responsible to direct guide lead and support all material supply and inventory control for the Abrams program warehousing obligation. Responsible for scheduling and directing the day to day warehouse operation and employees to ensure EACs are met. This position will report to the Abram Materials Section Manager. Insuring that the Manager is aware of critical issues and able to make appropriate strategic decisions based on information supplied. This person must be able to work independently as well as work as an integral member of Warehouse team. In this position the person must have excellent communication skills both written and oral and must have hands on familiarity with all inventory and materials computer based systems. They must be able to handle day to day confrontation in a manner that results in a positive outcome. Must have excellent planning and organizational abilities and must be familiar with TipQA, MRP, and MRB processes. Responsible to suggest and implement strategic plans to insure facility goals are met or exceeded.
