Esterline management views the company's businesses in three segments related to its set of core competencies: Avionics & Controls, Sensors & Systems, and Advanced Materials.DescriptionSYSTEMS ENGINEER: This position is responsible for a variety of engineering assignments. Employee understands and applies engineering concepts and follows established policies and procedures to complete work assignments.REQUIRED EDUCATION: 4 year bachelor degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Software Engineer preferredSKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Perform system and subsystem architecture and design for avionics systems Define system interface and software requirements for software specifications Synthesize requirements into system test plans and procedures Coordinate integrated testing activities Systems engineering experience related to the software engineering industry Embedded Real-time software development and verification a plus Experience with Aerospace/DO-178B a plusSPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Provide customer support and assistance. Support various amounts of overtime depending on project needs.
