Dock5 USA has the following contract positions available for Systems Engineers.
JOB #1:
Candidate must be fluent in DOORS and Excel and work with SE staff to produce various systems specification, analytical reports and be capable of creating and running DOORS scripts programs. Demonstrated experience in managing large requirements databases, creating systems specifications, writing concise, derived requirements for systems and sub-systems flow downs. Demonstrated experience flowing customer requirements from system level through SSDD through subsystem level to component level.
High level of proficiency in DOORS. Good Written and Oral Communication Skills; Strong Interpersonal Skills
Function as part of Systems Engineering Requirements Management Team activities to include: read and understand system level documentation; prepare System and Subsystem specifications (CDRLS) for customer delivery and technical participation in the integrated engineering effort of the system and program; supporting the requirements process for the EFV program. This will also include change control of the CDRLs. Candidate must have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment
Individual is expected to have experience working with users to understand needs and requirements. The candidate will be responsible for interpreting system requirement needs and translating them to subsystem requirements and use case functionality. Candidate should possess strong experience in data analysis and functional analysis and able to document process and data flows. Candidate should possess a good understanding of systems engineering, systems design and development concepts using disciplined methodology's. Demonstrated ability to analyze high level user needs and, through a structured and logical systems engineering approach, produce an integrated set of technical requirements that help meet user needs. Responsibilities for this position include analyzing and managing requirements, decomposing requirements into design attributes, helping develop system scenarios and maintaining requirements traceability. The position performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, requirements allocation, and interface definition to translate customer requirements into specifications. The position performs other systems engineering related tasks and activities as directed.
JOB #2:
Experienced in Requirements Management with tools such as DOORS. Requires a detailed-oriented Systems Engineer to support the EFV Requirements Management Team. Tasks will include developing use cases based on system level requirements. Use Case development experience required. Requirements definition experience with good analytical skills, team player and must have good writing skills. Candidate must have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience.
