Systems Engineer

This is a long term open ended contract position

Systems Engineer - Perform functional analysis and develop systems architecture for military vehicle systems and subsystems.  Develop and document system and subsystem functions to include all electrical, mechanical and software functionality.  Verify decomposition of customer requirements and identify and allocate functional requirements to physical components.  Must be able to develop the schema for a DoDAF compliant architecture utilizing CORE software application tool.  Develop processes to ensure that the functional and physical architecture is captured for input into architectural tool.  Interface with all engineering IPTs to establish the functional and physical architecture for all systems and subsystems.

Requirements - BS degree in Systems or Electrical Engineering.  Other technical degrees will be considered with related experience.  Must be able to work well in teams.  Knowledge and experience with DoDAF architectural tools and requirements tools such as:  CORE, System Architect, DOORS, Rational RequisitePro.  Knowledge of requirements allocations and architectural schema.
