Description of Work: * Manages a workforce of 150+ direct and contracted personnel * Responsible for performance management, discipline, and hiring * Schedules manpower, establishes work load requirements * Prepare briefings, develops metrics and weekly performance reports * Presents briefings to Military and Civilian personnel * Interfaces with the Military Program Management Office * Manages/directs inventory control to ensure 100% accountability * Manages assets to ensure materials and supplies are requested supporting established production schedules * Manages the accountability of tools and test equipment * Manages production schedule to meet customer requirements * Maintains continuity of workforce while operating in multiple locations * Directs and organizes structural repair which includes engineered welded assemblies * Incorporates metrics and control measures to maintain the production schedule and performance standards * Participates in daily supply meetings with external agencies responsible for material and engineering project support * Maintains a close working relationship with Fort Lewis Stryker Site Manager/Land Systems Reset Program manager * Responsible for performance management, discipline and team hiring * Responsable for Reset product quality compliance * Develops and maintains professional working relationship with the Defense Contract Management Agency acceptance team * Establishes a Whole System Architecture program * Responsible to maintain effective postive work environment Job Requirements: * Bachelor's degree required. * Experience with production based repair/ maintenance process * Strong interpersonal skills, communication, and leadership skills. * 5-10 years in logistical field/production; 10-15 years of supervisory/management experience. * Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, direct coordinate production work flow * Experience in development of performance based metrics * Experience with Wholes System Architecture management programs * Strong capability to analyze and solve complex problems * Ability to manage and work technical issues requiring external agency support * Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with customer and employees, * Strong interpersonal skills, communication and leadership skills. * Ability to manage multiple work locations and operating shifts * Willing and physically capable to deploy to remote work locations for periods up to six months * Able to work with a multicultural work force * Computer Skills to include MS Office Application preferred * Knowledge of Safety and Health Management * Must be familiar with Program's Quality Standard * Must meet Standard Practice 2-644, Physical Restrictions for work in Enclosed Combat Type Vehicle. * Must pass company required deployment physical. * Must be able to obtain a U.S. passport and visa. * Must speak fluent English and have above average verbal and written skills * Supply/warehouse experience including shipping/receiving * Ability to work in and foster a multi-cultural environmentRequired Education: BASubmit Your Resume Online NowGeneral Dynamics Land Systems is an Equal Opportunity Employer Job Title: Stryker Reset Manager (D) Location: Tacoma/Olympia Job Category: Installation/Maintenance/Repair Requisition Number: LEW-LE-08-7576 Career Level: Manager (Manager/Supervisor of Staff)
